Ron L. Jacobson

(MINNEAPOLIS) February 12, 2014—Ron L. Jacobson of Webster, South Dakota
has been elected to the position of Chairman of the Board of Governors for Shriners Hospitals for Children –
Twin Cities located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Mr. Jacobson is a member of Yelduz Shrine Center in Aberdeen and has been a Shriners Hospitals for Children – Twin Cities board member for 7 years.

Mr. Jacobson earned a Master’s Degree in Hospital and Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota
and is a 1966 graduate of Webster High School. Following a 41 year career in Hospital Administration,
Mr. Jacobson retired in January 2012 from his most recent position as Regional President/Avera Health
and President/CEO of Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
Mr. Jacobson was a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives
and served on many statewide and national healthcare boards and commissions.
In 2011, Mr. Jacobson received a Distinguished Service Award from the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations.
Ron and his wife Carol have four children and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Jacobson will serve as Chairman for a two-year term ending in 2015.

(MINNEAPOLIS) February 12, 2014—Monte Routledge of Fargo, North Dakota
has assumed the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors for Shriners Hospitals for Children –
Twin Cities located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Mr. Routledge is a member of El Zagal Shrine Temple in Fargo, North Dakota,
where he served as Potentate in 1989. He held office for the Midwest Shrine
Association (MSA) in 1992 as the Director General and in 2004 as the President.

Richard E. Thompson
APPOINTED TO SHRINERS HOSPITALS FOR CHILDREN®

(MINNEAPOLIS) February 12, 2014—Richard E. Thompson
of Rochester, Minnesota has assumed the position of Secretary of the Board of Governors
for Shriners Hospitals for Children – Twin Cities located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Mr. Thompson is a member of Osman Shrine Temple in Saint Paul, Minnesota,
where he served as Potentate in 2002.

David G. Krogh
APPOINTED TO SHRINERS HOSPITALS FOR CHILDREN®

TWIN CITIES BOARD OF GOVERNORS

 

(MINNEAPOLIS) February 12, 2014—David G. Krogh of Dakota City, Nebraska
has been appointed to serve on the Board of Governors for Shriners Hospitals for Children –
Twin Cities located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Mr. Krogh is a member of Abu Bekr Shrine Temple, in Sioux City, Iowa,
where he served as Potentate in 2012.
Mr. Krogh is a graduate of the University of South Dakota and is currently the
Executive Director of the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra.

Eugene R. Reece, Jr.
APPOINTED TO SHRINERS HOSPITALS FOR CHILDREN®

TWIN CITIES BOARD OF GOVERNORS

 

(MINNEAPOLIS) February 12, 2014—Eugene R. Reece, Jr. of Shiocton, Wisconsin
has been named to serve on the Board of Governors for Shriners Hospitals for Children –
Twin Cities located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Mr. Reece is a member of Beja Shrine Temple in Green Bay, Wisconsin,
where he currently serves as Assistant Rabban.
Mr. Reece is the Deputy Fire Chief for the city of Appleton, Wisconsin.

James I. Berg
APPOINTED TO SHRINERS HOSPITALS FOR CHILDREN®

(MINNEAPOLIS) February 12, 2014—James I. Berg of Mendota Heights, Minnesota
has been named to serve on the Board of Governors for Shriners Hospitals for Children –
Twin Cities located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Mr. Berg is a member of Osman Shrine Temple in Saint Paul, Minnesota,
where he served as Potentate in 2009.  Mr. Berg is the co-owner of
Twin Cities Magic & Costume located in West St. Paul, Minnesota
